On the note of the release dates, among the slew of 9in Animation #1 releases this year, only Beast and Pete the Dragon will be releasing this Friday. Contrary to popular belief, the Genie will not be releasing this Friday until a later date. It appears that Disney is attempting to spread out the releases in clusters so we aren’t overwhelmed with so many at a time.
